This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital healthcare service within a secure setting,supporting both patients and staff in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Full time and part time hours available.
Key Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to provide an efficient and comprehensive pharmaceutical service within the prison.
Participate in all aspects of dispensing, including labelling, stock rotation, secure storage, and managing dispensary queries.
Ensure the delivery of alegal, safe, and high-qualitypharmaceutical service in line withNational and Local policies, with a strong emphasis on maintainingsecurityat all times.
Support the implementation of themedicines management strategy, including service improvement projects across Norfolk Prisons.
Assist in promotingcost-effective prescribingandsupportthemedicines optimisation strategy, contributing to the effective management of medication budgets.
Deliver services in accordance withHCRG Care Group Medicines Policyand uphold the highest standards of care andconfidentiality.

Previous experience in a pharmacy environment is desirable, though not essential.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Ability to workconfidentlyin asecure andsensitiveenvironment.
A team player with a professional,compassionate, and discreet manner.
