Registered Nursing Associate Wilton Community Team

Location: Wilton, Wiltshire

Hours: Full-time / Part-time considered

We are looking for a compassionate and highly motivated individual to join our Wilton Community Team, where we work collaboratively to deliver care that helps people live well at home. As a Registered Nursing Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering both planned and responsive nursing care to patients in their own homes. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and within your scope of practice, you'll contribute to assessments, implement care plans, and ensure each patient receives high-quality, compassionate care.

Main duties of the job

As a Nursing Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting patients with kindness, professionalism, and care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Following organisational policies and procedures, while committing to your own growth and development.

  • Treating every individual with respect, dignity, and compassion, ensuring privacy and confidentiality at all times.

  • Managing and prioritising your workload effectively to meet patient and service needs.

  • Working closely with care teams, supporting registered practitioners, and delivering delegated aspects of nursing care to patients with a variety of health needs.

  • Using sound clinical judgement within your scope of training and competence when delivering care or therapy interventions.

  • Accurately recording and reporting care provided, noting any changes in condition, and ensuring timely communication with registered professionals.

  • Building positive, therapeutic relationships and communicating effectively, even where patients face barriers to understanding.

  • Supporting the safe use, cleaning, and storage of equipment.

  • Taking part in team meetings, supervision, and training to continue your professional development.

  • Following safe medicines management procedures in line with NMC standards of proficiency.
