Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 4 Nurse Associate to join our dynamic team at Beacon House, part of the Wiltshire Hospital at Home service.
As a Band 4 Nurse Associate you will gain valuable hands-on experience under the direct supervision of registered practitioners, developing the practical skills, clinical knowledge, and professional attitude necessary to deliver high-quality care across a variety of healthcare settings.
You will become part of a supportive, experienced, and friendly nursing team that values collaboration and is passionate about providing outstanding patient care. At Beacon House, teamwork is central to everything we do.
Our multidisciplinary team includes other Band 4 Nurse Associates as well as Band 5, Band 6, and Band 7 nursing professionals, all of whom are available to provide guidance and mentorship.
You'll also work closely with a range of primary healthcare professionals, including GPs, Community Matrons, and specialist services such as Tissue Viability, Heart Failure Nurses, and Diabetic Specialist Nurses, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
Main duties of the job
As a Nurse Associate you will:
- Work in care teams with other professionals, providing practical help by delivering aspects of nursing care to vulnerable and often highly dependent patients.
- Use sound clinical reasoning skills when delivering care and therapy interventions
- Deliver a delegated workload against the needs of patients and service
- Treat all individuals with respect and maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality
- Commit to personal and professional development
- Organise, prioritise and adjust own workload
- Accurately and effectively report on care undertaken and document changes in condition, maintain records, and ensure that there is feedback to the appropriate or responsible healthcare professional.
