Join Our Team as a Lymphoedema Support Worker
Based at Trowbridge Community Hospital,18 Hours Per Week
Are you passionate about making a real difference in peoples lives? Were looking for a compassionate, motivated Lymphoedema Support Worker to join our dedicated multi-professional team in a community setting.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide high-quality care, support, and treatment to individuals living with lymphoedema and chronic venous oedema, working within clearly defined clinical guidelines and protocols. You'll be a vital part of a supportive team that puts patient wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

Main duties of the job
To work within the Tissue Viability and Lymphoedema team.
To perform designated treatment by following a personalised specialist care plan.
To report to LSN any changes in patient condition and any relevant information.
To keep the patient at the centre of his or her care, ensuring patient and carer participation in decision making.
To undertake specific tasks as delegated; to include clinical intervention such as lower limb bandaging, simple wound care, measuring for hosiery and garments.
To have a good knowledge of infection control, to reduce risk of health care acquired infections.
To give practical support and advice to patients, relatives and carers within the bounds of knowledge and job role.
