Join Our Team as a Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist West EssexWere looking for a passionate and dedicatedBand 6 Physiotherapist (Paediatrics)to join ourCommunity Childrens Therapy TeaminWest Essex, coveringUttlesford, Harlow, and Epping Forest. This is apermanent, part-time roleworking16 hours per week, based atSt Margarets Hospital in Essex.
Youll be a key part of our multidisciplinary team, providing physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children, and supporting them and their families with self-management and care. Therapy is delivered in clinics across West Essex, Monday to Friday, 9am5pm however, we offerhybrid workingandflexibility on how your hours are worked across the week, which can be discussed further at interview.

Main duties of the job
As aBand 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Contributing to departmental development and supporting key performance targets.
Providing expert advice on patient care to colleagues in health, social care, education, and the voluntary sector - including visits to homes, nurseries, mainstream and special schools, and specialist clinics.
Working closely with children, their parents/carers, and wider care teams to prioritise treatment goals, including for those with complex needs or terminal conditions.
Developing your knowledge and skills in managing a broad range of musculoskeletal and complex disorders, with support from senior colleagues.
Assessing, recommending, sourcing, and training patients and carers in the safe use of specialist equipment and orthotics in both home and school settings.
Supporting the learning and development of Band 5 physiotherapists and students.

Aqualified Physiotherapistwith currentHCPC registration.
Experienced in working withchildren and young people, including theassessment and diagnosis of paediatric conditions.
Innovative and adaptable, with a flexible approach to working across specialities as service needs evolve.
Passionate about improving outcomesfor children and young people within the local community.
Astrong communicatorwith excellentorganisation skills, committed to delivering positive experiences for patients and families throughout their care journey.
In possession of avalid UK driving licenceandaccess to a car, as this is a community-based role.
