Job summary

As a valued member of our dynamic multi-professional team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Working closely under the guidance of our experienced therapy professionals, youll actively support patients in their individual rehabilitation and care programmes. With a strong focus on providing and promoting exceptional fundamental care, youll balance working autonomously with contributing to a collaborative team environment.

This a full-time opportunity working 37.5 hours across the week.

Main duties of the job

Some responsibilities include the following:

  • Expected to ensure correct use of confidential information and sensitive information in line with CALDECOT
  • Complies with Trust operational policies and procedures
  • Participate in team training
  • To work in a team structure, liaising with colleagues and other members of the multi-professional team.
  • To participate in the ongoing development and evaluation of the team.
  • The post holder is expected to communicate effectively so that the trained /appropriate member of the multi-professional team is aware of any changes to patients needs or problems associated with prescribed programme of therapy.
  • Undertake prescribed Therapy with the patient independently
  • To lead Group therapy programme and as well as remedial group programme.
  • Provide appropriate professional with up to date accurate information regarding patients progress.
  • The post holder is expected to act in ways that support equality and value diversity, in accordance with legislation and national and local policies.
  • Knowledge of caring for people with complex needs.
  • To understand the philosophy of rehabilitation
  • To undertake individual rehabilitation programmes of care with the patien

We are looking for someone who has experience working independantly and providing professional information, you'll also have experience with leading a team and dealing with the public in a health and care setting.

You will be a great communicator with the ability to prioritise your own workload.

It would be desirable if you already possess a degree in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy and looking for more experience or have previous experience as a Therapy Assistant or Rehabilitation Assistant. Also have a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
