CAMHS Getting Help Team Manager - Fixed Term

Job summary

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for amotivated and experiencedindividual to join our team as the Getting Help Team Manager within our West Essex (SET) CAMHS Team.

You will lead locality-based teams in the delivery of the Getting Help offer, a key part of the SET CAMHS service which is grounded in the Thrive Framework.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your team, ensuring children, young people, and their families receive timely, flexible, and holistic emotional health support tailored to their needs. Our service is committed to empowering families, building resilience, and supporting long-term mental wellbeing without focusing solely on diagnosis.

This is a part-time position (22.5 hours per week), fixed term for 1 year, based at our Treehouse Hub in West Essex.

Main duties of the job

  • You will oversee the formulation and treatment and management plans for parents, children and young people being treated by practitioners using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service; individual and group.
  • You will be able to work autonomously to make decisions on the management of the highest complexity of need and to identify and manage clinical risks appropriately.
  • Working in Partnership, you will support children andyoung people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their families in the self-management of presenting difficulties.
  • We have built organisation-wide committees in many specialist fields. Youll have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country. We get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design. Youll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads. You will be a part of quality improvements, research and development activity. The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will ideally have a minimum of a second-class Bachelors degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a relevant subject (e.g. psychology).

Alternatively, a wealth of experience working with children and young people with mental health needs at a clinical level will also be considered.

To be successful in the role candidates are required to have excellent time management skills. You must be compassionate, resilient and dedicated to changing the lives of the families that HCRG Care Group strive to make a difference to.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is needed for this role.
