About Summerfield UCC:
The role is based at Summerfield Urgent Care Centre, on behalf of Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group. We provide patients with and access to high quality healthcare in West Birmingham.
Summerfield Urgent Care Centre is committed to giving you high quality healthcare. We offer a range of health services and information as well as advice and treatment for a range of illnesses and minor injuries, with or without an appointment.
Unregistered patients may be seen by a clinician if they are unable to make an appointment. This part of the service is a walk in and wait service and not appointment based.

Main duties of the job
- Ability to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice.
- Experience of working autonomously in a healthcare role (Primary or Secondary care)
- People management experience.
- Knowledge of local and national healthcare agendas/strategy and policies and how they relate to the specific service.
- Understand the legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities and accountability with regards to advanced level, autonomous practice.
- Understand the impact of advanced practice roles on service delivery and their contribution to the multi-professional team.
- Medication reviews.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with external partners.
