Job summary
We are looking for aBand 6Diabetes Specialist Nurseto join our friendly and welcoming team based at Kent Science Park
You'll provide a link between GP and consultant led specialist teams and provide education and support both to people with diabetes and those who care for them, ensuringthe delivery of a high quality and productive service based on best available evidence
This is a community based roleworking Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
As a Diabetes Nurse you will be responsiblefor communicating highly sensitive information and bad news to patients and carers in an empathetic and supportive manner empowering the patient to manage their condition. You will need to be accountable for organising own workload within available hours to make sure patients receive the highest level of care.
You will work alongside the other Diabetes Nurses and Healthcare Professionals to promote the health and wellbeing of people with diabetes.

As a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, youll be part of our valued team based at Kent Science Park in Sittingbourne
