Join our team as a dynamic Staff Development Lead Coordinator!
If you're passionate about empowering our staff through comprehensive training and professional development, we want you on board. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our team members meet their mandatory training requirements and receive the necessary support for their professional growth, including essential certifications and qualifications such as the Care Certificate and various Health and Social Care diplomas.
Main duties of the job
As the Staff Development Lead Coordinator, you will:
- Oversee coordination activities at Connections and Carrswood day services.
- Collaborate with managers and training providers to address the learning and development needs of our staff.
- Provide personalized support to staff members in completing certificates and qualifications, conducting face-to-face sessions, observations, and preparing supporting statements.
- Conduct supervisions for staff members enrolled in the Care Certificate or Diploma courses.
- Coordinate new starter inductions, managing access to online training platforms, and scheduling face-to-face or online classroom sessions.
- Administer entry-level apprenticeships.
- Foster partnerships with the Complex Health Needs Service for specialized training programs, including Positive Behaviour Management, Epilepsy Awareness, and Makaton.
- Evaluate and identify personal continuous professional development (CPD) requirements.
