Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic and committed Advanced Nurse Practitioner for our homeless and asylum seeker specialist general practice services at Anchor & Meridian in Coventry. To work as part of the clinical team and support the delivery of the acute clinical care for the practice population.
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within HCRG Care Group you will be joining a team that is caring and passionate, that are always focused on delivering the best clinical experience for our patients.
About the Anchor & Meridian:
The Anchor Centre is a medical centre specifically designed to provide eligible patients including homeless and vulnerably housed adults with access to high quality healthcare within Coventry City.
The Meridian Practice provides family doctor services to asylum seekers and refugees in Coventry. Our mission is to provide patients in Coventry with high quality, easy and convenient access to a GP or nurse when they need it.

Main duties of the job
- This post will be across both practices; 3 days at Anchor Centre - 2 Days at The Meridian Practice (Hours negotiable)
- Ability to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice
- Experience of working autonomously in a healthcare role (Primary or Secondary care)
- People management experience
- Knowledge of local and national healthcare agendas/strategy and policies and how they relate to the specific service.
- Understand the legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities and accountability with regards to advanced level, autonomous practice.
- Understand the impact of advanced practice roles on service delivery and their contribution to the multi-professional team
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with external partners
