Job summary
We are looking for a Marketing Officer to join our Communications Team here at HCRG Care Group
This role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of marketing tasks such as updating website content, creating new pages on our websites, producing marketing materials using templates and monitoring and scheduling posts across our service social media channels.
The post holder will plan their own day to day work to meet the delivery of service level commitments to our operational services and our commissioners. As capacity allows, the post holder will also support with other marketing and brand work across the Group.
We are looking for someone to join us on a full time, permanent basis. You will have the opportunity to work hybrid between our head office in Runcorn and home over flexible hours to suit you.
Main duties of the job
Your main responsibilities will be:
- At all times, working in a way which maximises the use of the organisations resources towards the delivery of the organisations strategic objectives
- Maintain our service website estate, making changes to existing content, creating new pages and generally carrying out day-to-day maintenance tasks reactively and proactively engaging with our service managers.
- Produce marketing materials using easy-to-use templates in partnership with our operational service staff and marketing colleague
- Monitor social media accounts, ensuring prompt handling of engagement from service users
- Using templates and existing information, copywrite and schedule social media posts across our range of service social media accounts (mostly public health: 0-19 and sexual health services)
- Building and scheduling marketing emails from pre-written content

We are looking for someone who is passionate and driven with the following experience:
Essential
- Educated to a degree level
- Strong stakeholder management and networking skills
- Strong understanding and experience of Englands health and care system, particularly the role of Community Services and the type of work undertaken in community services
Desirable
- Related degree or professional qualification
- Member of a professional trade body such as CIPR, PRCA or CIM with a commitment to continuous professional development
