We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly team in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
As a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist you will be offered a welcome bonus of £1000 as well as NHS AfC Terms and Conditions.
This is a part time role based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire however we also welcome full time applications. We offer flexible hours along with the chance to get the best of both worlds - working between the community and remote at home to complete administrative duties.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist you will:
- Offer support to children and young people, their families and other service users
- Reduce the impact of speech and language difficulties, to allow children to participate in daily life and inspire them to reach their full potential
- Work within the dynamic Wiltshire community paediatric team
- Provide assessment and intervention for preschool and school aged children 0-19 years who experience speech, language, communication or swallowing difficulties
Agile working is encouraged including some home working, the use of virtual consultations, as well as face to face appointments where appropriate.

As a Speech and Language Therapist you'll be part of our valued team at Derby Court, Trowbridge.

- A Degree Qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- A licence to practice with the Health and Care Professions Council

We welcome newly qualified SLTs and offer a robust induction programme to develop professional competencies. We are also keen to hear from qualified SLTs who have completed their RCSLT competencies, as well as SLTs considering a return to practice after a break in working.
