Job summary

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our team!

As a HR Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the people team in various areas including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and more. You will play a key role in ensuring that our employees are happy, healthy, and engaged in their work.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to learn, with great customer service skills and a team player. The role will be on a full time, permanent basis working hybrid between our head office in Runcorn, Cheshire and home.

Main duties of the job

As a HR Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Triaging calls and emails aiming to resolve the majority of questions directly, including queries on annual leave, performance management, sickness, pay and compliance related activity
  • Deliver a consistent and professional level of service to key stakeholders within the Senior Leadership Team
  • Use knowledge from training and experience to provide advice and support to internal colleagues
  • Processing payroll activities
