An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and experienced individual to join the Corporate Secretariat Team at King Edward VIIs Hospital. As the Corporate Secretariat Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of governance and compliance activities across the hospital. Working closely with the Company Secretary, you will provide high-quality, professional support to the Executive Team and Board of Trustees, ensuring governance standards are upheld and all corporate duties are effectively managed.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting Board and Executive-level Committees, ensuring the accurate preparation of agendas, reports, and minutes. You will manage administrative tasks such as diary and email management for the Executive Directors. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in corporate or healthcare governance coupled with EA experience
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Experienced in Governance:You have worked in a corporate or healthcare governance role, interacting with Executives and Board members, and supporting governance structures at a senior level
- Strong Administrative Expertise:You possess excellent diary and email management skills, ensuring the smooth coordination of Executive Directors, Executive meetings and events.
- Minute Taking & Reporting:You have a keen eye for detail, with excellent minute-taking and report-writing skills, ensuring all documentation is accurate, timely, and professional.
- Proactive and Independent:You are a self-starter, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure, meeting varying deadlines.
- Excellent Communication Skills:You are comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and can maintain confidentiality while delivering a high standard of service.
