Location: Dove House Hospice, Chamberlain Road, Hull, HU8 8DH

Salary: £53,671 to £86,764 per annum Figures above are full time salaries. Will be pro-rata dependant on hours.

While the hospice is not part of the NHS and so does not directly match NHS rates, we are competitive to the trust and offer the following salary scale.

Hours of work: 15-37.5 hours available, working 2 to 5 days per week. Daily hours are 7.5 hours.

On call: you will be required to participate in the medical on-call rota which will be a minimum of 1 in 6. This includes weekend and overnight on call duties. While on-call you should not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Main duties of the job

1.Under the guidance of the Consultant in Palliative Medicine, to work as part of the hospices multi-disciplinary team to ensure that patients and their families receive high quality specialist palliative care (SPC) in line with the objectives of the organisation.

2.To share the responsibility of providing medical expertise in SPC for patients known to the Hospice.

3.To provide medical cover on a sessional basis for the patients within the Hospice.
