Job summary
We are seeking a full-time Band 3 Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Assistant to join our established and supportive physiotherapy team, which currently consists of two Physiotherapists, two Technical Instructors and three Rehabilitation Assistants.
You will be an enthusiastic, motivated, empathetic and professional individual who understands the importance of enablement and rehabilitation. You will be following treatment plans provided by qualified Physiotherapists, completing one-to-one sessions as well as leading group exercise classes. There are also regular opportunities to support residents with swimming sessions. You do not need to be able to swim, but must be confident in the water.This is a full time role, with Saturday working approximately one in every six weekends, with a weekday off provided in the preceding week.
You will work closely with the wider Fonthill MDT, including nurses, carers, GPs, occupational therapists, dietitians and other allied health professionals, and communicate regularly with residents relatives.

Palliative residents requiring regular re-assessment as conditions change

We are a 64-bedded home with an in-house therapy team delivering six-day-a-week therapy provision, working closely within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to promote independence, safety, and quality of life for all residents.
