Registered Nurse - Part Time

Are you an NMC Registered Nurse(General/Learning Disability/Mental Health)seeking an exciting new opportunity to learn specialist skills in renal dialysis nursing? What does the role involve?

Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspect whilst giving holistic care. You will be working autonomously, responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.

Oldham Dialysis Unit operates 22 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 20 patients, in partnership with Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio of 1:4 patients, and you will be supported by HCAs on each shift.

This is a part time role of 23 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts Monday to Saturday between 7.00am to 6.30pm, with the potential to move to 7.00am to 11.30pm in the near future.
