As Resident Medical Officer, you'll play a crucial role providing On Call cover for Cygnet Hospital Oldbury.
This is our 27 bed state-of-the-art PICU & Acute hospital for women, in the West Midlands.
The RMO is the Doctor covering On Calls between 5pm and 9am on weekdays and weekends.
Generally the RMO will work on a rota of 4 days on / 3 days off every week.
Advice and guidance is available from the Consultants On Call and weekly supervision will be offered within the above hours.

- Bloods
- NG tubing
- Patient admissions
- Patient assessments
- Risk assessments
We are looking for someone who is...
- Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified
- An excellent clinical decision maker, with sound judgement, the ability to manage risk & know when to ask for help
- Preferably experienced in Psychiatry
- Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients & write clear, comprehensive medical notes
- Committed to continued professional development
