We are looking for anSocial Therapistto join our team atCygnet Hospital Ealing.

As aSocial Therapist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on an in-patient ward, with supervision, support and training you will deliver interventions defined within the personalised care plan, spend time engaging, connecting and supporting service users, families, carers and friends through their recovery pathway. You will help facilitate activities/groups and ward based projects and be actively involved in every aspect of their physical, psychological and social care of people who uses our service.

You will be expected to work 38.5 hours a week (Days and night shifts) across a 7 day rota.

Between (7:30am to 8:00pm) and (7:30pm to 8:00am)

**Please note due to the nature of the service we can only currently take on Female applicants**

New Dawn Wardis our 9 bedded female specialist Tier 4 service, providing treatment, care and support for women with a personality disorder who are ready to engage in therapy.

Cygnet Hospital Ealing provides a welcoming, non-institutional environment, offering personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder over two separate wards.

Your day-to-day Assess service users for social therapy as part of a multidisciplinary needs assessment Plan & deliver social therapy observations & activities & determine their effectiveness Provide a variety of individual & group therapy work relating to social situations Monitor, evaluate & adapt ongoing clinical work according to each individuals needs Attend clinical meetings & communicate with colleagues, agencies & families/carers Comply with the codes of practice.

We are looking for someone who is Qualified in Social Therapy Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/Masters or equivalent Registered with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) Experienced within a care environment, or with a passion for working in this setting A UK driving licence holder who can escort service users on visits & trips when required Preferably experienced in a multidisciplinary team & in an evidence-based framework.
