We are looking for an outstandingKitchen Assistantwhos passionate about food and wants to make a difference.

Youll be workingpart time, atCygnet Lodge Salford,creating an excellent experience for the people in our care.

Please note, we have two roles available:

• 1 x part time, 16 hours per week.
• 1 x part time, 24 hours per week

Both roles will be 8 hour shifts on a rota basis. This will include both weekdays and weekends.Cygnet Lodge Salford is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for women. The service supports 24 individuals with a primary diagnosis of mental illness, but they may also have a complex secondary diagnosis, including a personality disorder.

Your Day-to-Day... Assist the team in the providing balanced, appetising meals Perform basic food preparation, cooking tasks & other kitchen duties Wash utensils, dishes & make sure they are stored appropriately Sort, store & distribute ingredients, check deliveries and assist with stock ordering Maintain personal hygiene and ensure the kitchen is clean & hygienic Handle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardo us to Health (COSHH) regulations.You are... Passionate about catering, preferably with experience within a care setting Enthusiastic, keen to learn and an active team member Polite & professional, with a positive attitude at all times An excellent communicator who can liaise with people at all levels Able to work on your own initiative & under supervision Diligent & take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.Why Cygnet?
