We are looking for a confident Assistant Psychologist with a passion for delivering outstanding care. Youll be working full time, 40 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Wallace Hospital. Situated in a residential area of Dundee, Cygnet Wallace Hospital is an 18 bed specialist high dependency complex care service providing assessment and treatment for individuals with learning disabilities, with or without autistic spectrum disorder, as well as complex needs and behaviours.

Cygnet Wallace Hospital is a 18-bed specialist high-dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men and women with intellectual disability and or autism. Our fantastic facilities and multi-disciplinary treatment programme are designed to assist individuals with their return to community living.

Cygnet Wallace Hospital is a multi-disciplinary and psychologically informed service. The focus is on nurturing an enabling environment to deliver a clinical model, developed specifically to meet the needs of service users within an operational framework, providing a high-quality environment for promoting long-term recovery.Your Day-to-DayWe are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with; Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written) Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes Administration, audit, research and service developmentWere looking for someone who is

Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team Qualified to Masters degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)Why Cygnet?
