Youll be working 40 hours a week at Wallace Hospital.
Wallace Hospital is a highly specialised 18-bed learning disability and complex needs service that delivers person-centred, compassionate care to individuals with a wide range of needs. The service is recognised for its strong multidisciplinary approach, combining skilled nursing, psychology, psychiatry, allied health professionals, and dedicated support staff to provide holistic, evidence-based care in a safe and therapeutic environment. A strong emphasis is placed on dignity, positive behaviour support, risk management, and meaningful engagement, ensuring patients are supported to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Leadership is visible and supportive, encouraging innovation, professional growth, and staff wellbeing, making Wallace Hospital an attractive environment for professionals who are passionate ab out making a real and lasting difference in peoples lives.Your day-to-day Ensure that the highest standard of clinical care is provided Co-ordinate all clinical aspects of the hospital & ensure co-operation between clinicians Know & implement all relevant policies, procedures & regulations Update legal documentation in consultation with other colleagues in accordance with company guidelines, NMC guidelines, legislation & current research Support staff in delivering a high standard of care through regular appraisals, training & development of evidence/research-based practice Be fully up to date with all statutory law & compliance to law Work closely with the Hospital Manager to resolve concerns & provide cohesive leadership Act up as required by the Hospital Manager.Why Cygnet? An experienced RMN/RNLD with a valid pin number and at least four years nursing experience Currently working as a Clinical Manager or Ward Manager or have significant experience in a Senior Nursing role Have strong leadership & clinical skills, as well as compliance & regulatory knowledge Are an excellent relationship manager with internal & external stakeholders Have experience in an acute, rehabilitation, mental health or forensic psychiatry setting Have evidence of functioning in a supervisory role as a clinician in a similar setting within a multi-disciplinary team.Please note, successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced PVG che ck.
