Join Our New Flagship Female Acute/PICU & Mental health Rehabilitation service:

We are looking for an organised Admin Manager with a passion for making a difference to others. The successful applicant will be working on a Full time basis(40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm)leading the on site administration team at Cygnet Kenney House.

Cygnet Kenney House is our purpose built, Flagship Acute/PICU & Mental health rehabilitation service located in Oldham. Developed in collaboration with the NHS to with the aim to support women from the North West to be treated closer to home.

There is three wards at Cygnet Kenney House; The PICU and Acute environments offer rapid access to care, supporting women to move quickly and safely through to the most appropriate and least restrictive setting.

The mental health rehabilitation and recovery ward(level 2) supports individuals moving on from the Acute ward, as well as external referrals from other services such as secure, CAMHS, prison services and more.

Main duties of the job

Your day-to-day:

  • Maintain and manage the Hospital Managers diary, including arranging meetings and room bookings on site.
  • Be responsible for aspects of the administration budget. Line manage the administration staff and be responsible for all personnel aspects relating to the department.
  • Ensure all personnel/recruitment filing and database systems are accurately maintained and audited.
  • Monitor staff performance in accordance with the Cygnet Procedures for Annual Performance Review.
  • Ensure regular supervision is available to the administration team

You are...

  • Previously experienced in a manager/team leader role within an admin department.
  • An administrator with experience in health care & knowledge of mental health
  • Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions
  • Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative
  • A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail & excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
