We are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You'll be working 45 hours a week(Monday to Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Acer Clinic.
Cygnet Acer Clinic is a 28 bed service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs or acute mental health needs.
Care is provided in a therapeutic environment, with a level of security matched to individual needs. The aim of the treatment, rehabilitation and re-socialisation programme is to prepare the people in our care either for transfer to conditions of lesser security, or for a life in the community.

Your day-to-day
Ensure patients filing and documentation complies with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
Guides and trains Support Worker team in policies and procedures.
Promo te and ensure the good reputation of the Hospital. To maintain and demonstrate a positive attitudes towards clients, their families, staff, visitors and others.
Support Clients who need assistance with independent living skills/ personal hygiene encouraging independence.
Lead a team of Support Workers.
Manage staffing levels for Support Workers.
Undertake relevant hospital filing and documentation.
To make sure all staff are correctly inducted and trained before supporting the individuals in our care
Induct new employees on policies and procedures and refresh other Support Workers.
To demonstrate non-discriminatory practice in all aspects of work.
Carry out any levels of observation as directed by Nurse-in-charge.
Under the supervision and guidance of trained Staff, care and report on the well being of Clients.
Read care planning needs for Clients and complete written daily records as instructed by trained Staff.
Carry out regular checks on Clients at intervals determined by trained Staff.
To assist in ensuring quality targets are met in accordance with agreed standards.
Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
