We are looking for a confident Speech and Language Therapist (Band 5) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. Youll be working full time, 40 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Paddocks. Cygnet Paddocks is our specialist Neuropsychiatric rehabilitation service for men. The service provides a dedicated care pathway for men affected by acquired brain injury or neurological conditions, where behaviours that challenge are the overarching impairment to recovery and rehabilitation.

Cygnet Paddocks is a 28-bed Neuropsychiatric care and treatment facility for men affected by acquired brain injuries which opened in May 2024. It is a safe and secure place to aid recovery as well as offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease an opportunity to help manage the progression of their symptoms. We are now seeking an NQP Speech and Language Therapist to join our Highly Specialist SLT in supporting individuals with speech, language, communication (SLCN) and eating, drinking & swallowing (EDS) needs.

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with:

  • A Diploma/Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and current (or pending) registration with HCPC and membership of professional body (RCSLT)
  • Strong clinical and professional skills
  • Experience or keen interest in the field of neurological conditions and mental health
  • Good organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Enthusiasm, motivation and passion
