Service Line: Female Mental Health Adults (Personality Disorder/ complex trauma)
Summary of the site
Cygnet Alders Clinic is a 20 bed rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex trauma needs, based in Gloucestershire.It provides a specialist psychologically informed personality disorder pathway, across three living areas.
At Alders we have a substantive multi-disciplinary team (MDT) comprising of Psychiatry, Speciality Doctors, Nursing, Psychology, Art Psychotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Activity Co-ordinators.
Occupational Therapy Team consists of Senior Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist & Occupational Therapy Assistant. For newly qualified Occupational Therapists
Main duties of the job
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction under the supervision of a more senior Occupational Therapist.
An integral part of this role will be supervising others, with a focus on supporting student education within the team.
This role includes opportunities for learning, development and research, supported by a robust appraisal and supervision structure based on RCOTs Career Development Framework.
