We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate Assistant Psychologistto join our Neurodevelopmental Pathway team, supporting the assessment and care of children, young people, and adultswith neurodevelopmental conditions such asAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and related presentations.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a psychology graduate looking to build hands-on experience in a specialist clinical settingwithin a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists.
Working under the supervision of a Senior Clinical Psychologist,you will play a vital role in the smooth delivery of high-quality assessments and care. You will assist with clinical history-taking, preparation and scoring of standardised assessments, and coordination of client appointments, helping to ensure that every stage of the assessment process is delivered with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
This role offers excellent exposure to clinical practice, structured supervision, and opportunities for professional growth. It is ideally suited to those aspiring to pursue further training in clinical, counselling, or educational psychology.
This role is a part time position working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on site at Schoen Clinic Chelsea.
