We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Radiographer to join our Imaging team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full-time, 1 year fixed term basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

Main duties of the job

About the role

Your responsibilities will include to:

Undertake all clinical work in the Imaging Department. They will be able to demonstrate specialised knowledge and expertise and support the Imaging Lead.

Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service.

Participate in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols.

Produce high quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while demonstrating high standards of care.

Training and supervise junior staff and assistant staff in both the delivery of the service and their individual development needs in a motivational manner

For Clinical Roles:

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.

  • Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent with HCPC registration.

  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience ideally with private healthcare.

  • Evidence of CPD
