We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Recovery Nurse to join our Theatre team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

Main duties of the job

our responsibilities will include to:

Support the (Deputy Theatre Manager) in meeting departmental objectives by contributing, developing, supporting the work of Anaesthetic and Recovery as well as overall theatre service. This will include staff training and development, process improvement and project management. 

Mentor junior members of the team and actively participate as a practitioner in the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care to all patients.

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve and maintain an outstanding, patient-focused and effective service.

Support the (Deputy Theatre Manager) in providing visible and strong clinical leadership, developing staff, and critiquing and updating processes within the department.

Support the (Deputy Theatre Manager) in improving quality compliance within the department.

For Clinical Roles:

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.
