Job summary
The team at Lings Bar is made up of GPs, ANPs, Pharmacist and Care Navigator. PICS support primary care cover into Lings Bar. Lings Bar has 72 rehabilitation beds and is open Monday Friday from 8am to 6.30pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
The post-holder will manage a caseload of up to 72 and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care.
The sessions will be worked on Thursdays and Fridays between 10:00-16:30 on site.
Main duties of the job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The post-holder will be available on site to review patients who are transferred to the unit.
- Providing General Practice level care for residents.
- Leading MDTs which are scheduled on a weekly basis.
- Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
- Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- GP Specialist training
- GMC registration
- Experience as a GP
