Job summary
You will be working within Rosewood Primary Care Network, which includes 5 practices based in Mansfield Town Centre (NG18)
The successful candidate will have a Btech/NVQ3 Pharmacy Services preferably with relevant experience of the role but not essential.
The main aim will be to support GP Practices and the PCN Pharmacy Team in medicines management. This will include audits, medicines queries, and care home support but this is not exhaustive.
Mansfield is a deprived area of the country, and you will be working with varied and complex patients.
The Rosewood PCN has a dedicated and highly competent Pharmacy Team who the successful candidate will be working with. There are 2 excellent Pharmacy Leads within the team to offer guidance and support, and an experienced Clinical Director giving clinical oversight to the wider PCN Team.
Main duties of the job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake patient facing and patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use, through shared decision-making conversations
- Support the Clinical Pharmacists as appropriate and when required
- Support the implementation of national prescribing policies and guidance within GP Practices
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- GPhC professional Registration
- Provide details in the application how your knowledge and skills are suitable for this role
- Demonstrated capabilities to manage own workload and make informed decisions in the absence of required information, working to tight and often changing timescales
