Clinical Lead
Location: Oakhill STC, Milton Keynes, MK5 6AJ
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, various shifts across Monday - Sunday
Salary: £43,947.00 per annum

Main duties of the job
Job Outline:
To proactively lead and manage a clinical team which provides the highest levels of holistic primary care within a secure environment. Ensuring professional, contractual and company requirements are delivered consistently at all times.

Who we are:
G4S Health Services has been one of the leading providers to all justice health environments since 2005. Working across Secure, Custody and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC) across the UK, we provide primary care and forensic healthcare to a wide range of patients. Oakhill Secure Training Centre (STC) is an 80 bedded secure establishment that holds young people from 12-17 years old.
We provide healthcare services in line with the NHS including GP, Dentist, Optician, Physiotherapy, and Podiatry. We also provide Immunisations, Sexual health clinics and Young Fatherhood programs. We provide assessments using the Comprehensive assessment tool (CHATS) that are utilised across the youth secure estate. The team is made up of RNLDs, RMNs, and RGNs RCNs.

Deputise for the Head of Healthcare in their absence
Play a key role in contributing to organisational and local improvement plans
Take a lead on clinical audit activity ensuring the clinical team are compliant with organisational audit requirements
Carry out assessments of young people to identify physical and mental health needs and determine appropriate level of intervention, care and management in conjunction with the young person to ensure their views and wishes are reflected in individual care plans
Ensure all staff understand and operate in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct and G4S policies and procedures, adhering to legislation and best practice at all times

- Able to provide examples of diversity in practice
- Able to analyse and interpret management information
