Job summary

Symphony Healthcare Services has a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Operations / Practice Manager to join the small and friendly team at Hamdon Medical Centre in Stoke-sub-Hamdon, Somerset.

The role is a permanent, full time opportunity, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The rate of pay is £16.09 to £18.38 per hour and the starting salary will be offered based on previous experience.

Main duties of the job

To support the practice manager to enable the Practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment.

To be responsible for the leadership for all operational functions delivered by the administration staff. They will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and effective running of the patient services within the practice.

You will also be required to work closely with the medical and nursing leads within the practice to ensure the safe and effective staffing of the practice and to build, develop, support and motivate the Patient Services Advisors within the practice.

The post-holder will be an integral part of the general practice team.
