Job summary
Highbridge Medical centre have an exciting opportunity for a QOF and Data Coordinator to join the team working at the three practices Highbridge, Burnham and Berrow Medical Centres.
The role is permanent working 30 hours per week, working pattern to be discussed at interview. The salary is £11.80 - £12.00 per hour with a NHS or NEST pension offered.
The post holder will coordinate the reporting of all enhanced services for the SHS practices, working in conjunction with the Performance & Data Manager. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting their designated Symphony Healthcare Services practices in improving their performance against the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF) targets. This will include the preparation, analysis and reporting of performance data to SHS Management Team, NHS England, Somerset ICB and the Local Authority.
Main duties of the job
1. Ensuring that all monthly and quarterly claims for enhanced services are completed accurately and on time
2. Ensuring that all automatic extractions through CQRS are accurate and to liaise with the CCG where theyre not to correct the extractions
3. Liaising with the Finance team to ensure that they are aware of all claims and any issues arising from erroneous claims
4. To work with the practices on maximising income through enhanced services
5. To support practices in coding training to ensure that all claims are accurate
6. To support the development and standardisation of EMIS Templates and Protocols in conjunction with the Performance & Data Manager
7. Provide guidance, training and reporting to practices on the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF)
8. Share good practice and processes between the practices to support the delivery of QOF
9. Work with administrators in each practice to improve existing recall systems and fix common coding errors
10. Support practices in clinical safety monitoring; particularly in relation to monitoring high risk medications
11. To support SHS practices with managing their flu campaign data; including identifying eligible patients and reporting vaccination uptake
12. To provide performance monitoring reports to the central team, practice management and hubs when required
