Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Medical Doctor who has experience in Gynaecology, to join the BCRM team as a Clinical Fellow or Specialist. We are flexible on whether you will work full time or part time.

The post will suit Doctors are experienced in the field or wish to gain experience in Fertility and Reproductive Medicine and will also provide opportunities for research.

The successful individual will join the largest and longest established Fertility & IVF clinic in the South West of the UK with a friendly multi-professional team.

Main duties of the job

Where required, the post holder will be provided with training and when competent will also provide professional supervision of others where appropriate.

It is expected that the post holder will be involved in the clinical management of patients and, in liaison with colleagues, continuity of care in their absence.

Duties will include consultations, patient management, scanning, oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers as well as other activities that take place within the centre.

Knowledge of and experience in gynaecological ultrasound scanning is essential and previous fertility experience is desirable.

BCRM, the Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine is an internationally recognised Fertility and IVF clinic with over 80 staff including acclaimed specialists that provide the full range of Assisted Conception Treatments including IVF, ICSI, IUI, ovulation induction, donor egg and sperm treatment, PGT, PGD, surgical sperm recovery. We also undertake advanced ultrasound scanning including 3D scans, HyCoSys and hysteroscopies. We provide RCOG approved subspecialty training in collaboration with the NHS and are recognised as a British Fertility Society training centre.
