Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Category Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing category strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and delivering value through effective procurement practices.

Main duties of the job

Lead procurement for a category or categories worth £20-30 million annually. Develop and implement strategic procurement strategies to optimize costs and enhance supplier relationships. Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts to deliver savings and support cost improvement programs. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure effective supply chain management. Foster a high-performing team and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
