Cromwell Hospital, a leading private facility in West London, offers comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services. We are seeking a skilledLead Rehabilitation Physiotherapistto oversee the adult physiotherapy team, with a focus on neurology,oncologyand medical admissions, extending to the Adult Intensive Care Unit.
Main duties of the job
This role combines operational oversight and clinical leadership, working collaboratively with fellow lead therapists to support the Therapy Manager. The ideal candidate will have substantialexpertisein neurological rehabilitation, including vestibular physiotherapy. Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload of inpatients and outpatients, triaging referrals, and treating complex and chronic conditions, often with multipleco-morbidities.
The Therapy Department at Cromwell Hospital has recently undergone significant investment to enhance both the clinical environment and therapeutic resources, aimed at improving patient outcomes and experience. This includes the acquisition of advanced equipment such as a 12-lead FES bike and the Xcite2 FES system, enabling efficient multichannel functional electrical stimulation integrated with task-specific exercises. Cromwell Hospital is currently the only private hospital in the country offering both technologies to improve patient outcomes.
Given this strategic development, we are seeking a candidate with proven experience in large-scale service development. The successful applicant will be expected to lead innovative initiatives that expand therapy services and contribute to revenue generation in alignment with the hospitals broaderobjectives.

What youll bring:

HCPC Registration
Extensive experience within a similar clinical and leadership role
Confident working with clients with complex neurological presentations and rehabilitation needs, including ICU
Experience in managing deteriorating patients as part of a cardiorespiratory on-call service
