Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Dietician to join our team. This is a key leadership role within Cromwell Hospital to lead the delivery and development of our first class, Dietetic Services. You will lead a friendly, dynamic, and forward-thinking department who provide excellent patient centred care, using the latest evidence-based practice in both inpatients and outpatients; to lead in the provision and specialist clinical management of dietetic services, supporting the team, to deliver safe care, excellent patient experience and meet revenue targets.
Our current service consists of:
Inpatient wards; ICU, Oncology, Surgery and Orthopaedics, Cardiology/Medicine, and Paediatrics
Outpatient; Executive screens, Gastroenterology including low FODMAP diets, Nutrition Support, Diabetes, Cardiology, Renal, Bariatric, Gynae, Liver and Paediatrics.
There is scope to further extend and grow the dietetic service. Cromwell Hospital is a supportive and friendly environment to grow and develop.
Main duties of the job
Develop and implement policies and protocols within the hospital.
Develop, enhance, and grow services, seek new opportunities, and deliver first class dietetic services to patients, customer, and key stakeholders.
To provide clinical support / cover as necessary, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to contribute to enhanced dietetic specialist services.
Lead robust governance, audit, and risk management for the service.
Identify and implement service improvements and market the department to promote service and new referrals.
