We have an incredible opportunity to join our Remote Services team as an Remote Advanced Nurse Practitioner. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Bupa, you will deliver primary care consultations to customers of Bupa Health Clinics (BHC) in accordance with national, local, and internal policies and guidelines, ensuring a high-quality service which delivers high customer satisfaction digitally.

Main duties of the job

Youll help us make health happen by:

Clinical Quality and Delivery:

  • Delivery of Advanced Nurse Practice primary care services remotely, understanding there may be circumstances where it is necessary to refer customers to be seen face to face in a Bupa Centre or an alternative primary or secondary care provider.

  • Undertake clinical work in accordance with the National Framework of Advanced Clinical Practice, in line with the NMC professional code of conduct as well as the Bupa code of conduct.

  • Always provide services within individual clinical scope, referring customers onto a GP or other clinician as needed and in line with internal referral processes.

Governance & Compliance

  • Engage in incident reporting and investigation as outlined in our BHC incident Management and reporting policy.

  • Undertake NMC revalidation every 3 years.

  • Deliver best practice care to a wide variety of corporate and self-paying customers following Bupa's clinical governance, policies, guidance materials and following professional codes of conduct.

Customer

  • Deliver outstanding professional and customer service standards and proactively contribute ideas to the clinical leadership team including the Lead Physician, service team manager and central operations manager for continuous improvement.

  • Promote Bupa positively and proactively to employees, corporate clients and customers, developing effective working relationships with Bupa colleagues and the wider Bupa team.

  • - MSc in advanced clinical practice
  • - Independent prescribing qualification (V300)

Experience

  • - Minimum 3 years clinical practice as a registered nurse

  • - Minimum 2 years as an independent prescriber
  • - Portfolio of professional evidence against the advanced practice framework.
