Post: 37.5hrs per week

Salary: £38445.53-£46309.93 per annum

The Food and Hygiene Quality Assurance Lead will report to the Senior Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager and be responsible for the research; design and delivery of the department's training and quality assurance programmes, leading on delivery of work streams across Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, ensuring objectives are managed and delivered to National Standards.

Ensure that local advice and support provided to FM departments include the development and delivery of bespoke programmes that are clearly aligned to the overarching Facilities training and development programme and the corporate Learning and Development agenda

Job Summary

The Food and Hygiene Quality Assurance Lead will build effective, positive and collaborative working relationships with clinical and non-clinical operational managers, professional leads and teams to embed and promote a learning culture to support the service and the Service Users experience.

The Post Holder to support the Facilities Team in quality assurance assessments of the services and quality monitoring systems.

Support the wider Estates and Facilities team by actively contributing to the development, implementation, and on-going review of appropriate quality monitoring and audit processes including databases and other systems to ensure training is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

The Post Holder will support kitchen inspections, Food Safety and Quality Audits for all Trust food entities and submit evidence based findings.
