  • The ideal candidate will have experience of Pre assessing simple and complex patients for all elective surgery and experience of working autonomously within a team.

  • Evidence of relevant clinical professional development
  • Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
  • Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
  • Must have evidence of Pre operative Assessment Training or competency
  • Must be competent in Venepuncture and 12 lead ECG
  • Must have sound knowledge of the NICE guidelines and application of such within the Pre assessment setting
