You have excellent clinical and technical knowledge and skills

You have experience as a practice supervisor or practice assessor

You have a level 2 in functional skills or level 4 or above Maths & English GCSE

You deliver care competently, with courage, commitment and compassion all delivered with excellent communication skills

You reflect on your practice and identify any further learning

You plan your CPD as part of revalidation

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or
• Registered Nurse Level 2 - Relevant Competencies for the role.
• Evidence of relevant clinical professional development preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
• Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
• Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
• Excellent clinical applied knowledge which is evidenced based and takes account of national best practice standards.
• Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good team worker.
• Both punctual and reliable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of the multi disciplinary team essential
• Previous experience working in a Pre-Assessment department but not essential.
