This is an opportunity to work as part of a charity committed to our Vision of enabling everyone in our communities to achieve better mental health. TOG Mind is a fast-paced charity delivering a wide variety of mental health and emotional wellbeing services. In your role as CYPF Practitioner, you will work as part of the #Thrive Hub in Heywood which is a multi-agency service which focuses on providing support to children, young people and families.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providinginitial discussion within a safe space to explore mental health related concerns and assess what type of support is appropriate. Using your experience, and knowledge you will build and manage a caseload of supporting children, young people and families using administrative systems and provide mild to moderate support. You will be responsible for managing issues relating with safeguarding children and young people from risks with the support of you team.Communicating effectively with your team, manager and external services will be a key component of your duties.
You will provide and effectively deliver early intervention, psychoeducation, solution focused and person-centred interventions with young people and their families, predominately based from our Heywood #Thrive office. As part of supporting the wider team, there may be times when support is provided from our other CYPF services across Greater Manchester.

Use IT systems including email, online systems, and Microsoft packages to record and share information.
Deliver and monitor a range of complex activities or programmes in your department.
Achieve service and project outcomes.
Work in partnership with a wide range of partners, stakeholders, and communities.
Carry out any other reasonable tasks relevant to the role.
Working pattern:
The core hours for this post are 8am 8pm weekdays
The role requires at least 1 evening until 8pm.

- Experience of providing support services to members of the public.
