TOG Mind is a fast-paced charity delivering a wide variety of mental health and emotional wellbeing services. In your role as Admin Assistant you will work as part of the #Thrive service will be responsible for:

As an admin assistant your job will be to provide administration support and to assist with front of house/reception cover at one of our hubs for children, young people and families.

You will be responsible for greeting people, accepting referrals, signposting to other services and ensuring the space is welcoming and safe as well as respecting client confidentiality.

Main duties of the job

#Thrive is a multi agency emotional wellbeing service for children and young people, delivered in partnership with Pennine Care and Your Trust. Within this role you will work as part of a wider multi agency administration team working in a trauma informed approach, treating everyone with respect, compassion and understanding.

You will be responsible for offering a warm welcome to young people and families entering our hub, ensuring the space is inviting, safe and calming, You will be a vital member of the team, accepting and processing referrals, handling enquiries, managing waiting lists, inputting data onto our client management system and providing general administrative support to the team.

We work with people of all ages and have a dedicated Youth in Mind team providing support to Children and Young people. Job responsibilities

Duties specific to this role: Work as an integral part of the Take 5 team to enable the delivery of services by providing administrative support. Act as the initial point of contact to members of our community and ensure they are welcomed to our services. Sensitively help people to access the most appropriate source of support and enable active engagement. Liaise with staff and volunteers to ensure the people using our services receive the support needed. Maintain professional boundaries. General duties: Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people inside and outside the organisation. Use IT systems including email, online systems, and Microsoft packages to record and share information. Support the planning and delivery of a range tasks, activities or programmes in your department. Carry out any other reasonable tasks relevant to the role. Working pattern: The core hours for this post are 8am 8pm weekdays and Saturdays 10am 2pm. We offer flexible working patterns across these core hours where possible. This role specifically requires working until 7pm on 2 evenings a week Person Specification.
