Main duties of the job

As a Peripatetic Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will have the chance to work in a variety of care home settings, supporting the delivery of high-quality catering services. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of the residents. Your personable approach and genuine interest in the wellbeing of the residents will be crucial in creating a warm and welcoming environment within the homes. You will need to demonstrate strong kitchen management skills, an understanding of nutrition, and experience working with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
