Job summary
As a Quality Improvement and Regulation Manager at Barchester, you'll help to continuously enhance the quality, person-centred care and support the organization is known for. This is an exciting time to be joining as Barchester looks to closer align the audits with the regulatory standards. Your role will involve auditing care homes on a regular schedule to identify and help drive sustainable quality and service improvements.
Main duties of the job
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be extremely varied, including reviewing care plans, checking on kitchens, and supporting staff in Barchester's services. You can also expect to spend time with residents and their relatives. Your work will provide a key part of the corporate assurance which is relied upon by the Executive Team and colleagues in Operations. You will be expected to build constructive relationships with General Managers, Regional Directors, and Divisional Directors with the aim of helping them to achieve 'Good' or 'Outstanding' regulatory ratings.
