Job summary

As a Maintenance Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create the safe and attractive surroundings that enable us to give our residents the quality care and support they deserve. The role offers variety as you'll undertake a range of tasks to ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained to the highest standards.

Main duties of the job

The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for a range of property maintenance tasks to keep the care home in excellent condition. This includes general repairs, painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, and other handyman duties as required. The successful candidate will need experience in property maintenance, a patient and caring nature, and a genuine interest in the well-being of the residents.
