The Operational Trainer role plays a key part in ensuring the continued delivery of Good and Outstanding care, as they ensure every member of staff is confident and competent in their ability to work in a person-centred and compassionate manner.

Main duties of the job

As an Operational Trainer at Barchester, you will provide induction and development training to around 5 homes and/or hospitals across a specific region. This home-based position will involve travel around the region. You will coordinate and deliver training against Barchester's objectives, provide practical hands-on training, plan and publish training calendars, observe workplace practice, and maintain regular contact with new team members, coaching and supporting them as appropriate. You will also attend meetings and conferences, promote learning and development opportunities, and work with Home Managers to implement individual personal development plans.
