Job summary
As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You'll supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants, support the clinical team in areas like medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews, and play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment for our residents.
Main duties of the job
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, as well as supporting the clinical team in specific areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents, and play your part in creating a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment. You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
